The Independence Bulldogs topped the visiting Prairie View Buffalos volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oskaloosa for a non-league test on Saturday, October 14. Independence will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Jefferson County North (Winchester, KS). The Bears record now stands at 3-16.

The Buffalos (17-11) will now prepare for their test against Wellsville (Wellsville, KS). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 5-27 record. In their last test, Wellsville gained a win over Bishop Ward (Kansas City, KS), 2-0, in a non-league test.
