The Lions (27-5) will now prepare for their battle against Jesup (Jesup, IA). The J-Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 17-17 record. In their last battle, Jesup achieved victory over AGWSR (Ackley, IA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Stars clash with the North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. Starmont will attempt to advance on its 14-11 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 12-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA).
