The Mercer County Titans volleyball team (Harrodsburg, KY), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY)

The Cardinals (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Warriors come into the District 48 challenge with a 15-17 record. In their last challenge, Southwestern defeated Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Titans encounter the Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Mercer County will attempt to move on its 9-19 season record. The Briar Jumpers come into the challenge with a 18-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cumberland Christian Home Educators (Somerset, KY).
