In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Oak Forest Bengals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Plainfield South Cougars.
The Bengals (18-10) will now prepare for their battle against Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Rams come into the South Suburban battle with a 15-13 record. In their last battle, Reavis achieved victory over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a Southwest Prairie battle, on Tuesday, October 17. Plainfield South will attempt to advance on its 18-12 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 18-13 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL).
