The Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) volleyball overcame the host Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 26-5 on the year. The Vikings travel to Monticello (Monticello, IL) to face the Sages in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 14. The Sages go into the outing with a record of 20-8. Monticello lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL)

The Indians now own a 12-18 record. They play next when they travel to Heyworth for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 14. Pontiac will face a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 14-9.
