In their next game, the Vanguards face the Ayala Bulldogs (Chino Hills, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 16. El Modena will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 19-7 record after their 13-6 league loss to Bonita (La Verne, CA).

The Chargers (8-17) will now prepare for their game against Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA). The Wolverines enter the game with a 23-3 record. In their last game, Aliso Niguel held off Ayala (Chino Hills, CA), 26-0, in a non-league game.
