The Easton Area Rovers soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Phillipsburg Stateliners to 1 in the Rovers non-league victory on Monday.

The Rovers now hold a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Parkland for a Eastern Penn bout on Tuesday, October 15. Easton Area will play a Trojans squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Emmaus (Emmaus, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 14-2.

With the loss, Phillipsburg moves to 3-9 on the year. The Stateliners host Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ) to play the Vikings in a Skyland - Delaware West bout on Tuesday, October 15.
