The Staunton Storm felled the host Stuarts Draft Cougars football team by a score of 24-12 in Monday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Storm play the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 24. Staunton will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
The Cougars (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants go into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Waynesboro was dropped by Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 26-13, in a non-league challenge.
