Monett Cubs (Monett, MO) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Greenwood Blue Jays (Springfield, MO), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Monett moves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Aurora (Aurora, MO) to clash with the Houn Dawgs in a Big 8 test on Tuesday, October 15. The Houn Dawgs come into the test with a record of 0-15.

The Blue Jays now sport a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Pius X for a non-league test on Saturday, October 19.
