The Jaguars now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Newark Charter School for a non-league outing on Friday, October 18. Appoquinimink will play a Patriots team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE). The Patriots record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Newark drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to DuPont (Wilmington, DE) to meet the Tigers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 16.
