Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN) and the host Como Park Cougars (St. Paul, MN), observed Park Center's volleyball team top Como Park by a count of 3-1.

The Pirates (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against Andover (Andover, MN). The Huskies enter the Northwest Suburban contest with a 9-17 record. In their last contest, Andover notched a victory over New Ulm (New Ulm, MN), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cougars battle the Harding Knights (St. Paul, MN) in a St. Paul City contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Como Park will attempt to move on its 8-14 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 9-9 record after their 3-2 league win over Humboldt (St. Paul, MN).
