In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] Knights volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Crookston Pirates.
The Knights (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Ada-Borup/Norman County West (Ada, MN). The Cougars enter the Pine to Prairie contest with a 20-6 record. In their last contest, Ada-Borup/Norman County West notched a victory over Park Christian (Moorhead, MN), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Pirates battle the Roseau Rams (Roseau, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Crookston will attempt to move on its 0-16 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 13-12 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (Badger, MN).
