The Hornets now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clarksburg for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 17. Damascus will clash with a Coyotes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Poolesville drops to 4-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD) to clash with the Screamin' Eagles in a Montgomery County 2A/3A bout on Wednesday, October 16. The Screamin' Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-11. Seneca Valley lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD)
