In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting West Essex Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Glen Ridge Ridgers.

The Knights (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Mount St. Dominic Academy was beaten by Verona (Verona, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Ridgers meet the University Phoenix (Newark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Glen Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record.
