In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mary Help of Christians Academy Blue Jays volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Passaic Indians.

The Blue Jays (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, NJ). The Bears come into the North Jersey - Colonial challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Hawthorne beat Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (Paterson, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Wayne Hills Patriots (Wayne, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Passaic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ).
