The Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) soccer got by the host Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), 1-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Bayhawks (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Burlington-Edison was edged by Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Mountaineers battle the Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle, on Thursday, October 16. Mt. Baker will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 8-5 record after their 1-0 league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA).
