Connecticut High School Soccer - Pomperaug knocks off Bunnell

The Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT), 6-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Panthers now hold a 10-0 record. They play next when they travel to Newtown for a Southwest - Colonial challenge on Thursday, October 16. Pomperaug will battle a Nighthawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 11-2.
The Bulldogs (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, New Fairfield was overwhelmed by Joel Barlow (Redding, CT), 1-0, in a league contest.
