The Stonington Bears edged the host Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Bears face the Killingly Trailbazers (Killingly, CT) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 16. Stonington will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Trailbazers enter the game with a 8-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Wheeler (North Stonington, CT).
The Blue Devils (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record.
