In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Oxon Hill Clippers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the High Point Eagles.
The Clippers (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Yellowjackets go into the Class 2A South I outing with a 5-4 record.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 16. High Point will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Flowers (Springdale, MD).
