The Collegiate Cougars soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting St. Anne's-Belfield Saints to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic for a non-league bout on Friday, October 17. Collegiate will face a Wolves team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-4.
The Saints (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against The Covenant School (Charlottesville, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, The Covenant School nudged North Cross (Roanoke, VA), 2-1, in a league bout.
