The Trumbull Eagles held off the visiting Ludlowe Falcons soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Eagles now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Westhill for a Fairfield County bout on Thursday, October 16. Trumbull will play a Vikings squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Greenwich (Greenwich, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Ludlowe moves to 2-11 on the season. The Falcons travel to Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT) to face the Hilltoppers in a Fairfield County game on Thursday, October 16. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a record of 2-14. Bridgeport Central lost 4-1 in their recent league game against Norwalk (Norwalk, CT)
