Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the South Pointe Griffins (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting West Phoenix Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), saw South Pointe's soccer squad knock off West Phoenix by a count of 5-2.
The Griffins (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against ASU Prep Poly (Mesa, AZ). The enter the non-league battle with a 1-7 record.
The Eagles now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maricopa Institute of Technology for a CAA D2 Roadrunner match on Thursday, October 16.
