Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles (Bloomfield Hills, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Academy of the Sacred Heart improves its record to 5-11 on the season. The Gazelles travel to Roeper (Birmingham, MI) to meet the Roughriders in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. The Roughriders enter the challenge with a record of 3-17.

Next, the Eagles meet the Redford Union Panthers (Redford, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Thurston will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Cabrini (Allen Park, MI).
