The Alden-Hebron Green Giants volleyball squad (Hebron, IL), dropped 2-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL)

With the win, South Beloit improves its record to 22-5 on the season. The Sobos travel to Harvard (Harvard, IL) to meet the Hornets in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 16. The Hornets enter the contest with a record of 3-21. Harvard lost 2-0 in their recent league contest against Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL)

Next, the Green Giants meet the Christian Liberty Chargers (Arlington Heights, IL) in a Northeastern contest, on Thursday, October 16. Alden-Hebron will attempt to improve on its 2-24 season record. The Chargers go into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL).
