In Tuesday's league contest, the Augusta Southeastern Suns (Augusta, IL) volleyball team overcame the host Camp Point Central Panthers (Camp Point, IL), by a count of 2-0.

The Suns (23-5) will now prepare for their contest against West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 3-23 record. In their last battle, West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] dropped by South County (Franklin, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now own a 2-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly for a non-league battle on Friday, October 17.
