The Bishop Stang Spartans volleyball squad (North Dartmouth, MA), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA)

With the win, St. Mary's improves its record to 8-8 on the season. The Spartans host Salem (Salem, MA) to encounter the Witches in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 16.
