Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bison Cardinals (Bison, SD) and the host McIntosh Tigers (McIntosh, SD), observed Bison's volleyball team overcome McIntosh by a tally of 3-1.

The Cardinals (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] (Bowman, ND). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-15 record. In their last test, Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] was defeated by Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig] (Elgin, ND), 3-1, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harding County for a B Region 8 test on Thursday, October 16. McIntosh will face a Ranchers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Carter County (Ekalaka, MT). The Ranchers record now stands at 23-3.
