Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA) and the visiting Cambridge Springs Devils (Cambridge Springs, PA), observed Maplewood's volleyball team top Cambridge Springs by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Maplewood improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to McDowell (Erie, PA) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 16. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 2-8.
The Devils now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 18. Cambridge Springs will meet a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cochranton (Cochranton, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 26-4.
