The Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes were victorious over the visiting Cobden Appleknockers volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Tornadoes now possess a 12-16 record. They play next when they travel to Sesser-Valier for a Black Diamond West outing on Thursday, October 16. Zeigler-Royalton will play a Red Devils team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Johnston City (Johnston City, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-18.

With the loss, Cobden drops to 13-13 on the campaign. The Appleknockers host Century (Ullin, IL) to clash with the Centurions in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 15. The Centurions come into the outing with a record of 12-16. Century won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Egyptian (Tamms, IL)
