The Poly Engineers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Dunbar Poets to 0 in the Engineers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Engineers now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Western for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 16. Poly will play a team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to City College (Baltimore, MD). The record now stands at 8-4.
The Poets (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Edmondson-Westside (Baltimore, MD). The Red Storm go into the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Edmondson-Westside gained a win over Mergenthaler Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD), 3-1, in a non-league game.
