The Eureka Hornets were victorious over the host Tremont Turks volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Hornets now possess a 25-5 record. They play next when they host Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley for a Heart of Illinois outing on Thursday, October 16. Eureka will play a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 7-17.
With the loss, Tremont drops to 14-15 on the campaign. The Turks host Ridgeview (Colfax, IL) to play the Mustangs in a Heart of Illinois outing on Thursday, October 16. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 10-16. Ridgeview lost 2-0 in their recent league game against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL)
