Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY), 3-1 in a league outing.

The Riders now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Voorheesville for a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty outing on Thursday, October 16.

With the loss, La Salle Institute drops to 10-5 on the campaign. The Cadets host Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY) to play the Golden Knights in a non-league outing on Friday, October 17. The Golden Knights come into the outing with a record of 0-6. Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Fonda-Fultonville (Fonda, NY)
