Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Pomperaug improves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Panthers host Weston (Weston, CT) to face the Trojans in a Southwest-Colonial test on Thursday, October 16. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 4-4. Weston won 3-2 in their recent league test against Newtown (Newtown, CT)

The Mustangs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to New Fairfield for a Southwest-Colonial challenge on Thursday, October 16. Immaculate will play a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Joel Barlow (Redding, CT). The Rebels record now stands at 5-13.
