    In Friday's league game, the Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX) football team smashed the host Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX), by a final score of 47-7.

    The Mules (7-0) will now prepare for their game against Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX). The Chargers come into the 5A-2 Region IV District 15 game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Boerne-Champion overwhelmed Tivy (Kerrville, TX), 45-20, in a league game.

    The Panthers now hold a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lockhart for a 5A-2 Region IV District 15 game on Friday, October 22. Medina Valley will battle a Lions team coming off a 40-27 league loss to Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-5.
