    • North Carolina High School Football - Polk County knocked off by Chase

    October 15, 2021: Columbus, NC 28722

    Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), 31-13 in a league test.

    With the triumph, Chase improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Patton (Morganton, NC) to battle the Panthers in a 2A West Conference 41 test on Friday, October 22. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-5. Patton lost 41-20 in their recent league test against Brevard (Brevard, NC)

    With the loss, Polk County drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Draughn (Valdese, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, October 22. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-3.
