The Grassfield Grizzlies football squad scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats to 27 in the Grizzlies league victory on Friday.
The Grizzlies now possess a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nansemond River for a Southeastern battle on Friday, October 29.
Coming up next, the Wildcats face the Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern battle, on Friday, October 22. Great Bridge will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Braves enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 40-26 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).
