The South Gray Rebels held off the visiting Hodgeman County Longhorns football team by a count of 23-16 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, South Gray upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Rebels travel to Wichita County (Leoti, KS) to encounter the Indians in a non-league outing on Friday, October 22. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 5-2. Wichita County won 66-20 in their recent league outing against Spearville (Spearville, KS)

With the loss, Hodgeman County moves to 3-4 on the season. The Longhorns host Meade (Meade, KS) to encounter the Buffaloes in a Southern Plains-Iroquois (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 22.
