Illinois High School Volleyball - Carmel can't hold off Jacobs

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Jacobs Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Carmel Corsairs.

The Golden Eagles (19-9) will now prepare for their battle against Hampshire (Hampshire, IL). The Whip-Purs come into the Fox Valley battle with a 14-18 record. In their last battle, Hampshire was edged by Huntley (Huntley, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Corsairs clash with the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 16. Carmel will attempt to advance on its 18-14 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 17-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL).
