In Saturday's non-league match, the host Long Branch Green Wave football squad scored a close 2-0 victory over the Neptune Scarlet Fliers.
In their next game, the Green Wave clash with the Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 21. Long Branch will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 0-7 record after their 53-33 non-league loss to Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ).
