The Valley Stream North Spartans football team (Franklin Square, NY), was beaten 47-21 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Lynbrook Owls (Lynbrook, NY)

The Owls (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Division (Levittown, NY). The Blue Dragons come into the Section 8 Conference III challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Division was beaten by Bethpage (Bethpage, NY), 40-8, in a league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manhasset for a Section 8 Conference III challenge on Saturday, October 22. Valley Stream North will meet a Indians team coming off a 28-8 non-league win over Glen Cove (Glen Cove, NY). The Indians record now stands at 4-2.
