In Saturday's non-league game, the Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT) football team tipped the visiting Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), by a final score of 31-28.
The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Milton (Milton, VT). The Yellowjackets come into the Division III game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Milton was tipped by Woodstock (Woodstock, VT), 47-20, in a league game.
The Minutemen now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newport for a non-league game on Friday, October 21. Mill River will battle a Tigers team coming off a 57-0 league win over Franklin (Franklin, NH). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
