The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) and the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), saw Helix's volleyball squad beat Grossmont by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Helix upgrades its record to 14-9 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Valhalla (El Cajon, CA) to play the Norsemen in a bout on Monday, October 17. The Norsemen go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Valhalla lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against West Hills (Santee, CA)

The Foothillers now own a 1-2 record.
