East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting St. Francis Red Raiders (Hamburg, NY), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils confront the Depew Wildcats (Depew, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. East Aurora will attempt to better on its 13-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Griffith Institute (Springville, NY).

The Red Raiders now have a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's for a Msgr Martin challenge on Friday, October 21. St. Francis will confront a Lancers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY). The Lancers record now stands at 12-3.
