The Oregon Hawks volleyball team (Oregon, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Aquin Catholic Bulldogs (Freeport, IL)

The Bulldogs (28-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets enter the non-league challenge with a 20-4 record. In their last challenge, Newman Central Catholic defeated Princeton (Princeton, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the Byron Tigers (Byron, IL) in a Big Northern challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Oregon will attempt to move on its 16-8 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 6-19 record after their 2-1 league loss to Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL).
