The Briggs Bruins held off the host Whetstone Braves volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bruins now have a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chillicothe for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 18. Briggs will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Trimble (Glouster, OH). The Cavaliers record now stands at 11-11.
The Braves (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 9-13 record. In their last test, Canal Winchester was nudged by Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH), 3-0, in a league test.
