In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Deerfield Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Waukegan Bulldogs.

The Warriors (15-15) will now prepare for their battle against Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Vikings come into the Central Suburban battle with a 12-21 record. In their last battle, Niles North lost by Niles West (Skokie, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) in a North Suburban battle, on Wednesday, October 19. Waukegan will attempt to advance on its 11-20 season record. The Bears come into the battle with a 20-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Batavia (Batavia, IL).
