In Saturday's non-league battle, the host E.L. Haynes volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the McKinley Tech Trainers.
The (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Thurgood Marshall Academy (Washington, DC). The Warriors come into the PCSAA battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Thurgood Marshall Academy nudged Paul Public Charter International (Washington, DC), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Trainers encounter the Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 17. McKinley Tech will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
