The Padres go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Carmel won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Santa Catalina (Monterey, CA)

The Mustangs now own a 2-18 record. They play next when they travel to Pacific Grove for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 15. Gilroy will play a Breakers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Watsonville (Watsonville, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 14-7.
