The Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Nordics volleyball team (Newfolden, MN), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Fertile-Beltrami Falcons (Fertile, MN)

The Falcons (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (Badger, MN). The Gators enter the non-league challenge with a 21-2 record. In their last challenge, Badger/Greenbush-Middle River nipped Warroad (Warroad, MN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Nordics encounter the Sacred Heart Eagles (East Grand Forks, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 17. Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] will attempt to move on its 7-17 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (Badger, MN).
