The Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) volleyball overcame the host Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 14-15 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Waterloo (Waterloo, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a Mississippi Valley outing on Tuesday, October 18. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 22-7. Waterloo won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Columbia (Columbia, IL)
The Dragons now own a 20-12 record. They play next when they travel to Limestone for a Mid-Illini outing on Wednesday, October 19. Pekin will face a Rockets squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 27-5.
